Safest Way to Swap Tradition Strap

So the tradition uses screws, and it seems super easy to slip and scratch lugs. Any tips for doing this without being the first ape to put a scratch on a nice watch? lol

This open door can help. If it is too delicate, a good watchmaker can do. I do always by myself, but with good focus. I done it many times, experience helped mee.

You know the extra tiny locking screws underneath the lugs? Try to unscrew those no further than is necessary to let the bar unscrew and slide out. Last time I changed straps I unscrewed that one all the way and it fell out. Those screws are TINY. It was ...
