For the new Heritage Collection, Montblanc designers were faced with a difficult challenge. How do you create a three dimensional sculptured case to satisfy the description: " Classic-Contemporary"? Afterall this descriptive term seems mutually exclusive ...

I hope our Montblanc PuristS here also like this post. The detailed explanation on the case construction and design is very interesting. I always appreciate brands who put in more efforts into their watch designs, especially into the finer details. I like...

on your "first pass" The details are subtle...from visual cues to small tactile changes. Better noticed on the second or third inspection of these watches. Best, Mike

You are touching here all the difficulties to design a successful case. A wrong detail and everything looks crap. The strong asset, in my point of view, of this case is its timeless elegance: it looks simple and pure but your post highlights the efforts t...
