that you keep your watches "at the bank". I am assuming
that means a safety depost box. The topic on the drive home
last night was how banks are starting to phase them out. The
reason being that no one uses them anymore. Chase Bank
is eliminating them at all 5700 of their branches. With the world
being digital there is no reason to keep paper copies of anything
(OK, there are a few), since everyting can be stored on 'the cloud'
or a digital storage device. A safety deposit box also meant a trip
to the bank to get what you needed and a trip back to return it.
Another reason give was "only old people use them" as younger
people keep everything digitally on their device of choice.
When thes boxes are a thng of the past where will you keep
your watches, jewelry and valuables?
