a little of what Habring did with his early tourbillons.  Take an existing movement and insert a "custom" tourbillon into it.

So I imagine the constructeurs at MB looking at the Rieussec movement, applying the theory which was previously done at Villeret, and engineered the concept down a bit so that it can be placed into the base Rieussec movement.

The layout of plates and gear train is very similar

But I agree the design aesthetics are very similar in some watches between JLC and the "new MB"

I am not sure if it is done on purpose or not.

But MB has been very aggressive with their retail pricing so perhaps they are trying to gain some traction.

Rose gold "tourbillon"  with the addition on a monopusher chrono less than 40K Euro?!

I wonder what the retail buyers at SIHH are whispering?

Warmest, Mike

This little "step" dial makes me think of the JLC QP Tourbillon a little bet

I like it. I just noted that 1 or 2 watches from this year show cousins aesthetical similarities with some JLC. I hope that the route of M. Lambert will not lead to too much of these. Anyway, it is a very nice novelty. Thanks for sharing Mike :) Cheers, M...
