Two fantastic watches

I also had the opportunity to handle some of the Villeret collection watches with their beautiful Minerva caliber. The movements are absolutley fantastic.

Of course, I was also thinking about the "Montblanc" name on the dial and if I could accept it.

Well, all the technical stuff and the great finishing is there. So I think it must be a very personnal reflexion but however all concrete elements are checked. So yes I wouldn't mind having the Montblanc name on it if I love everything in that watch.

That's why when one buys a watch he must really do it for himself and not for the others. That's how one doesn't make a mistake.

Congratulations Alex smile

Cheers, Mark

Montblanc vs. Minerva

 By: ambel : December 5th, 2014-07:14
Last weeks saw two new wonderful pieces added to my collection. The Montblanc Heritage Pulsograph Minerva Clibre 13.20 I was overwhelmed since the launching of the Pulsograph at SIHH. However as watch snob, never really enjoyed the brand name and history ...

Still have an obsession for Minerva. If Richemont group would have kept this name - it would be a stunner brand nowadays, that for me could compete with Patek. But here I am a bit biassed of course But the quality, finishing,... of the Montblanc is a kill...

Big congrats for having these 2 stunning pieces!

My MB villeret chrongraph grand feu enamel has the same beautiful movement as your Heritage Pulsograph! It's the Calibre 13.21 monopusher - the finishing is superb and the monopusher feel is silky smooth (so is the winding of the watch). You have the best...

Alex 11... Bravo.

Bravo for having let your Watch Snobbery aside. Bravo for having pulled the trigger. Bravo for this pair. The Montblanc Heritage Pulsograph is certainly a good Watch. I hope they will release it in white metal Black dial one day. As for the Villeret, what...

Two have one is nice, but ...

to have both is even nicer. Congrats! I have a soft spot for the Minerva, because of its additional spice. Oliver

Awesome, those pre Montblanc Gnutti Minerva watches
