Many of us PuristS love Worldtimer watches, especially those of us who travel and/or have global/regional responsibilities in our work and business. Montblanc has a few worldtime watches in its current Star and Timewalker collection, namely the Star Woldt...

Especially business Travelers who often sacrifice family when they travel for work. That's why a nice Worldtime watch to admire on those long trips help! :) Or any nice watch for that matter :) Cheers Robin
I love a lot of things on that Watch. The complication, of course, the way it is displayed, the not too big nor thick case... One thing I regret, but maybe Montblanc can correct that... The minute indexes all around the blue and white ring... It was not n...

Good feedback. Let's bring it to Montblanc. Agree the dial is otherwise perfect. Actually I love what I'm seeing already on the press pics. Looking forward to seeing it in the metal Cheers Robin
Thanks Robin - this is rather appealing! I have issues with world time watches. As I said in another post recently, the city ring is often completely dominant (my criticism of the VC worldtimer), they don't deal with summer time very well (half the world ...

There is no perfect WT watch. Lots of blue on the dial is a good start and a discreet brand name too on the dial. Your suggestion on the city ring is an interesting one indeed! Let's feedback to the brands Cheers Robin

For me I hope the 41mm is not a problem for my small wrist. If so I need the bracelet version to hide the lugs length a bit :) But i think a WT cannot be too small else it will be hard to read the cities Cheers Robin

Steel version at EUR 4,990. Pink gold version at EUR 13,900. Tempting at such attractive prices indeed! The steel version especially of course. Once again Montblanc is going for complications at competitive prices as they did with the Heritage Perpetual C...
By the way, are you hinting a possibility for both of us getting another pair of brother watches? I just showed you report to my wife, and she said the Orbis Terranum is beautiful! She also asked about the price, and the affordability did surprise her. So...
- do you have a photo of the back side? - Do you think Montblanc will change the Moscow position before delivery? Very interesting model (copying VC Patrimony Heures du Monde), but very affordable. Thanks Patrickh

I don't have a pic of the movement. I know it's a Sellita base movement with the WT complication developed in-house by Montblanc. I have requested for the movement pics and will share once I have them. Yes, I can confirm on the cities ring, Moscow will be...
When I saw it, I immediatly thought about the Patrimony World Time. In a way, it is good news for Montblanc. But the trend for the Heritage collection seems to become an affordable offer of some classics from other companies of Richemont. Don't get me wro...

Not all similar though. I think the MB Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum's continents (land mass) are shaded darker for night indication whereas the VC WT's is a half disc shading half the globe. I need to see in the metal to confirm. I get your point Fx on ...
I think I should prefer the bracelet version. Official Price is 5250€. Which one do you prefer on photo (to be confirmed in real on wrist)? BRs, Patrickh ...

If we like the bracelet, it's usually cheaper to get it with the watch and then get a strap separately. The other route of getting the strap version first and then buy a separate bracelet tends to be more expensive. cheers robin

then the bracelet is good to hide the gap between the lugs :) The bracelet looks cool and is useful for warm Singapore too. Thanks for sharing the price and pics Patrickh! Cheers robin
Wow, if this watch looks good in person and operates like it's supposed to operate, this watch will be sold out for the next year or so! Basically, it's a Patek Philippe WorldTime at a fraction (1/5 to 1/4) of the cost (in steel). This is a good sign. Lou...

I also can't wait :) I am sure the dial is beautiful. Am praying it fits my small wrist. I think it will be ok at least with the steel bracelet :D Cheers robin

Lol! It's interesting - I noticed the brands in the Richemont group both help each other but also compete with each other rather fiercely in the market. A rather fine balance of siblings in the same corporate group. I guess siblings want each other to suc...
