As a tip for watch photography, the fastest way to improve the quality of your pictures is improve your lighting. Lighting is the key. You can't take good watch pictures in low light, so if you don't have a light box or lighting setup, take pictures in a room that has plenty of sunshine or take pics outside but avoid direct sunlight since that causes harsh reflections from the sun on the watch case.
