overcoming.
On the wear comfort, I think this is easily solved. I choose to switch it out to a tang buckle and perhaps this is how the Rieussic should be packaged. Deployant clasps are nice but they all vary in their wear comfort so perhaps we should leave it to the new owners to "personalize or accessorize" their new watch to their unique wrist anatomy.
I think opening up and asking our experienced community for insight demonstrates that Montblanc is honest in their attempts to enter the watchmarket now. It has only been a year with their new caliber and some changes are obvious...their ears are open and this is the most important aspect. To understand what we see on the macro lens only serve to improve their product not to detract from it. Honestly I think I can find the same flaws on my JLCs, even more distractions on my independent pieces, and even dust behind the crystal of watches which were returned "fresh" after service.
Their initial run of the MBR 200 and MBR 100 is very limited. It will take some time before they can crank out at a mass scale. In a wierd way I hope Montblanc never reaches the end of their learning curve. It is at this point they will stop innovating.
Yes I understand the committee design approach...too many chefs in the pot can spoil the soup. But I chuckle at all the times where we have torn down a design on the internet and rebuilt it community stype ourselves. All I can say is imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...even legitimate companies are mimicking Montblanc's design already :-(
Best and thank you Magnus,
Mike
